Dr. Saleem Ahmad Qasmi
DirectorDr. Saleem Ahmed Qasmi is a distinguished scholar of Islamic Economics, educator, and social reformer committed to integrating traditional Islamic scholarship with modern academic disciplines. He currently serves as the Director of the Institute of Islamic Economics (معهد الاقتصاد الاسلامی) in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh, and is the General Secretary of the IQRA Foundation for Educational and Economic Empowerment (IFEEE).
Dr. Qasmi’s educational background combines both traditional and contemporary streams. He completed his Ph.D. and M.Phil in Islamic Economics from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, focusing his doctoral research on “Shariah Supervision of Islamic Modes of Finance in the Arab Countries”. He also holds Master’s degrees in Economics and Islamic Studies, and is a graduate of the renowned Darul Uloom Deoband, where he specialized in Hadith, Fiqh, and Tafseer. In addition, he is a Hafiz of the Holy Qur’an and holds multiple diplomas in the Arabic language.
Dr. Mahboob Thaha
PhD holder in West Asian StudiesDr. Mahboob Thaha is a PhD holder in West Asian Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He has done his graduation in Islamic Studies from Al Jamia Al Islamia, Malappuram - Kerala, India and post-graduation in Quranic Studies from the same institution. Besides he also holds a post-graduation in Islamic Studies from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He has also done an M.Phil in West Asian Studies from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. At present he is a teacher in the department of Islamic Studies at Global English School, Al Ain - UAE.
Saad Ahmad

With a strong foundation in Islamic scholarship and a sophisticated grasp of global academic frameworks, he offers a distinctive interdisciplinary approach to education and research. Trained in social sciences at world-renowned institutions like the University of Notre Dame, USA, and the University of Göttingen, Germany, Saad brings exceptional insight and expertise, fostering a brighter future through innovative teaching and scholarship.
Molana Muhammad Atif Raghib
Lecturer: Hadith & Arabic Literature | Head – On-Demand CoursesMolana Muhammad Atif Raghib is a Hafiz-e-Qur’an and an expert in Arabic literature and Islamic jurisprudence. A graduate of Jamia Mazahir Uloom, Saharanpur, he completed Alimiyyah, Iftaa specialization, and Advanced Arabic studies. He also holds secular education up to Intermediate level, enabling him to connect tradition with modern learning.

Ustadh Mohammad Javed Qasmi Haidari
Head of Department – Three-Year Almiyat Program for ProfessionalsUstadh Mohammad Javed Qasmi Haidari is a Hafiz-e-Qur’an and accomplished Islamic scholar, with over 20 years of experience in teaching and translation. He completed his ‘Ālimiyyah and Fazilat from Darul Uloom Deoband, followed by specialization in Arabic Literature from Ma‘had al-Takhaṣṣuṣ. He also holds a B.A. in Islamic Studies and M.A. degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies.
He has taught extensively in madaris and schools, covering foundational to advanced Islamic texts, and has served as a freelance translator across Arabic, Urdu, and English.
Currently, he heads the Three-Year Almiyat Program for Professionals, run under the Alhuda Islamic Studies Department, combining classical Islamic education with modern academic needs.
Maulana Shoaib Zahidi
Head, Languages Department | Faculty – Almiyyat Program & On-Demand CoursesMaulana Shoaib Zahidi is a graduate of Darul Uloom Deoband (Dars-e-Nizami) and holds a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com). Currently pursuing Takmīl al-ʿUlūm, he combines traditional Islamic scholarship with modern academic insight.
As Head of the Languages Department, he leads Arabic, Urdu, and English instruction. He also teaches in the Three-Year Almiyyat Program for Professionals and On-Demand Courses, committed to making Islamic education accessible and impactful.
